DIRECTIONS FROM THE WEST AND SOUTH (eg from Stockport):
The best route to the centre from the west or south is to get onto the Greater Manchester Orbital Motorway (M60 formerly M63) and exit at Junction 13, signposted Worsley, Swinton and Leigh. Follow the A575 (Walkden Road) going towards Walkden. At first set of lights turn left onto the A580 (East Lancashire Road) going towards Liverpool and St Helens. At the next set of lights turn right onto the B5232 (Newearth Road). Follow Newearth Road to the miniroundabout and go straight across. The road then becomes Bridgewater Road. After going under the railway bridge, the WTC is at the end of the next block of terraced houses (set back from the rest of the row).

DIRECTIONS FROM THE EAST (eg Leeds, Rochdale/Oldham, Prestwich):
From the East, exit the M60 (formerly M62/63) at Junction 14, signposted A580 (East Lancashire Road) going towards St Helens. At the second set of lights turn right onto the B5232 (Newearth Road). Follow Newearth Road over the miniroundabout (where it becomes Bridgewater Road) and under the railway bridge. The WTC is at the end of the next block of terraced houses and set back from the rest of the row.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH (eg Chorley, Preston, Bolton, Farnworth):
From the North exit the M61 at junction 4. Turn right under the motorway and then left at the next roundabout onto the A6 (Manchester Road) going towards Walkden. At second set of traffic lights (not counting pedestrian crossings) turn right onto Hilton Lane (you will see the New Albion Pub opposite right and a funeral parlour to your immediate right just before you turn). Follow Hilton Lane until you come to the miniroundabout. Then turn left onto Bridgewater Road and go under the railway bridge. The WTC is at the end of the next block of terraced houses (and is set back).
