Counselling, therapy and psychotherapy can help you make changes and feel more alive

Counselling and Psychotherapy

  • Are you suffering from stress, anxiety and/or depression?
  • Are you wanting to make changes but are not sure how?
  • Are you looking for an alternative to medication?
  • Have you become frustrated with long waiting lists to see a counsellor?
  • Perhaps you need help and advice with your relationship?
  • Are you wanting help to improve your marriage/relationship?
  • Are you thinking about ending a relationship, separation or divorce?
  • Have you recently experienced loss or bereavement?
  • Want to know more about yourself and how you tick?

Counselling and therapy can provide an environment for you to develop and grow, work through issues and feel good about yourself.

I offer friendly, supportive and confidential counselling and psychotherapy to both individuals and couples who live or work in or around the Manchester area. I provide both short-term counselling and long term therapy.

  • Short-term counselling normally focusses on specific issues such as anger management, assertiveness, bereavement, life changes and stress.
  • Longer term psychotherapy: is normally suitable for issues such as anxiety, self-harm, personal growth and awareness.
  • Couples therapy: for people in all types of relationships whether married, co-habiting or same sex.

Counselling and therapy can help you change the way you think or feel about yourself and help you make the positive changes you want.

Ethical and Confidential

I have considerable experience working with both adults and adolescents. I have trained extensively in both counselling and psychotherapy.

I am both a member of The Institute for Transactional Analysis (ITA) and The European Association for Transactionl Analysis (EATA). I am committed to providing high professional and ethical standards.

As a member of the ITA and EATA, I adhere strictly to their code of ethics and professional practice and I am subject to their complaints procedures.

I offer an initial free face to face consultation, which can help you decide if my services are right for you, helps you to decide what type of therapy you would like, and also provides an opportunity for you to ask any questions you have.
